My story is filled with difficult experiences, frustrations, and self-doubt.
But it is also one filled with forgiveness, self-discovery, and great accomplishments.
When I was younger, I didn’t know how to name my feelings or how to improve them. All I knew was that I couldn’t stand to be alone with myself, because that meant I had to feel my feelings.
As I found my path in social work, I learned so much about myself and how to help myself at the same time that I was learning how to help others.
I began my journey toward healing and self discovery. A journey that isn’t linear. A journey that will likely be never ending. And a journey that has gotten me to where I am now.
I now have over 6 years of experience working with children in a preschool setting, as well as experience working with elementary aged children and young adults, including those on the autism spectrum. Now as a therapist at Unwritten Endings, I am eager to help my clients navigate their own unique journeys.
