My story is one of pursuing perfection,
seeking control, and layers of disconnection.

It wasn’t until adulthood when I realized I couldn’t live like this forever. I had let too many opportunities pass me by. I made it a priority to pursue authentic joy, mindfully let go, and experience vulnerable relationships. I haven’t looked back since!

Witnessing, as well as experiencing the transformative influence of relationships that are built on sincere trust and support has reshaped and redefined my own life in profound ways. I hold a steadfast belief in hope and in the inherent capacity of every individual for positive change and resilience.

It begins with the willingness to have someone by your side who believes in your potential and offers unwavering support.

I’ve chosen to use the last decade to focus my educational and professional studies on the dynamic power of relationships to act as a catalyst for change.  I knew that I could take what I’ve learned from my own experiences to help others. The power of relationships spread vast and wide.

For many, I have been the safe and stable connection that I found to be transformative in my own life. It’s human nature to seek connection and belonging. These relationships empower us to confront obstacles with courage, embrace vulnerability, and ignite change within ourselves. I’ve demonstrated the impact of human relationships to individuals within foster care and adoption, refugee services, domestic violence, and homelessness. I’ve witnessed relationships be the driving force for change within outpatient, in-home, and inpatient settings in my work with children, adolescents, and families. I’ve become exceptionally passionate about addiction treatment and recovery and in teaching other mental health professionals the value of healing that is imperative within this underserved population.

If your goals feel too big or change feels overwhelming, let me stand by your side. Together we can write this next chapter of your life.

I want to help you uncover your strengths, cultivate a path forward, and ensure you’re living to your fullest potential. I would be honored to support you in this intricate routine of life.

“Texie has an energy for the work she does. From the moment we met her it was clear that she cares and that has made all the difference for us and our family. “

“We just started with Unwritten Endings and are so impressed. From the time we walked in the door we felt calm and welcomed. Our therapist is warm and caring and really listened to my husband and I about our concerns with our son! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to continue our sons therapy journey!

“Unwritten Endings has been fantastic for my 11 year old son. They are welcoming and made him feel comfortable right away. He was unsure about starting therapy to help him find some coping strategies, but now he enjoys coming and sharing about some struggles he’s having. I would highly recommend!

“My daughter has enjoyed her counseling sessions at Unwritten Endings very much! Her counselor has been very flexible with our schedule. We’ve been able to have video and in person visits. Which is very helpful.

“Referred to this practice by a different (amazing) Therapist for my 11 year old riddled with anxiety. I’m so excited we scheduled!!! All the staff goes above and beyond to make clients and their families comfortable (such as a sweet little snack shelf and an assortment of beverages). Even my 11 year old is comfortable; and she’s a hard sell. 🙂 thanks Unwritten Endings!
